Hey there!
My name is Sam! I’m the farmer behind County Line Flower Farm in Kennedy, AL.
I was a sophomore in college when I first discovered flower farming. I somehow stumbled across a farmer on Pinterest growing a field of crops unlike anything I knew farmers to be known for.
She wasn’t growing cotton, peanuts, or corn.
She was farming FLOWERS!
Ever since then, I could not stop thinking about how I could become such a farmer. What a joy to share the beauty and bounty of flowers with the community!
Ironically, I didn’t always love gardening. Growing up, I couldn’t stand working in the family garden - funny how life works! I remembered it being a lot of hard work. Planting, weeding, and harvesting all in the heat of summer.
I’ve now come to see it as a labor of love.
Digging in the dirt, sowing each precious seed, watering, and nurturing what becomes a gift.
Both pleasing to the eye and lifting to the spirit.
Slowly, the farm is being transformed from a land of grass and trees to a field sown with beauty complete with an old-fashioned barn to provide a gathering place for those who visit.
The farm is the perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge. I’d be honored to have you.
Lord willing, the farm will be open during the summer of 2025.
Can’t wait to see you there, friend!
